Kid Fest

Come
to Island Park on Friday, June 17, 2011 for the Twelfth Annual Midwest
Kid Fest - a whole day of FREE entertainment and activities
just for kids and families. And, it's free to the public!
The
festival runs from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and features many wonderful
interactive activities and hands-on projects. Kids can play life-sized
games, take in a musical concert on the main stage, catch a magic
show, complete an art project, meet a silly clown and watch stage entertainers like Penny & Pals! Also - turn your little artists loose at Picasso
Point - with hands-on art projects.
Teddy
Bear Parade - 10:30 a.m.
Don't
forget about the Teddy Bear Parade! Hear the sounds of the Night Fire Drumline and the Calliope Organ from El Zagal Shrine. Kids are invited to bring their
favorite teddy to walk in the short parade around Island Park beginning
at 10:30 a.m. (Registration at Dike West at 10:00 a.m. Registration info available here or
